Bilingual Medical Scribe - Ophtalmology

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Bilingual Medical Scribe (Spanish/English)
with a strong background in
ophthalmology
to support providers in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with real-time (live) scribing and be comfortable working closely with doctors during patient visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide real-time (live) medical scribing during patient encounters in ophthalmology settings
Accurately document patient history, examinations, procedures, and treatment plans in the EMR
Accompany physicians during consultations and exams, using an iPad for documentation
Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations
Assist with chart completion and workflow efficiency to support providers
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff
Minimum 1 year of experience as a scribe or similar role in ophthalmology
is a MUST.
Bilingual proficiency in
Spanish and English (spoken and written)
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and multitask effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $7 – $8 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM PST.
