"The Corporate Sales Trader in Ecuadoris a developing professional role but with a significant amount of responsibility.Is accountable for the corporate sales business in the country anddeals with most problems independently. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to effectively interactwith costumers and other bank areas. Responsibilities: o Helpour Fx sales and solutions regional teams, to execute initiatives that foster revenue growth and increase wallet share throughout their specified segment o Build rapport and strategically work with clients to understand their needs and leverage the Firm's trading capabilities for their benefit o Continually stay abreast of industry trends, Firm's products and services and evolving client needs to present them with the value-added advice, product and services for their specific needs o Help team to deliver on financial and non-financial business targets utilizing Citi’s five leadership standards in assigned area o Will work with the Firm’s clientsby handling simple to moderate transactions. o Help drive the execution of the key Coproate Fx Sales and solutionsbusiness strategic priorities.In alignment with the local, regional and/or global strategic plan and assuring the highest standards set forth by the business o Individuals at this level continue to develop their knowledge of the business (e.g., firm’s products and services), marketplace, and clients o Ability to help overall Sales team execute on formulated plan to grow revenues and increase share of wallet within an effectively developed business plan o Take lead role in fostering an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise o Understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures to provide best suited solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners o Work closely with appropriate teams to build and develop a strong platform for clients o Ensure and facilitate optimal discussions with the clients with guidance from team leads or Desk Head o Leading strong governance and controls o Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure o Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics o Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation o Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services o Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
