As a digitalfirst organization, Global Catholic Climate Movement relies on compelling visuals to communicate our story in images. As the graphic designer and video editor, youll have a unique role in engaging massive new audiences in the race to climate solutions.
Areas of responsibility
The graphic designer and video editors key duties are as follows
delivering images and videos to use on social media including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp, in press kits, and occasionally on our website
designing documents and email layouts
contributing to the overall visual presentation of materials such as brochures, flyers, infographics, social media images, and toolkits
using photos and videos sourced from the GCCM network as well as stock footage to create short videos and
contributing to conversations about GCCMs brand identity, including helping create a visual guide and helping develop a library of images for GCCMs member organizations and volunteer network.
The incumbent may also complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria
have at least three years experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier
have experience in creating modern, clean, colorful design that moves grassroots audiences to take action
have experience in fastpaced advocacy organizations and
be comfortable working in a Catholic environment that is grounded in the values of Laudato Si.
Languages
Spanish English should be proficient in conversation and writing
Location
Anywhere, with a preference for Quito, Ecuador or elsewhere in Latin America

Work environment
This position will ideally be located in our Quito, Ecuador office. Other locations may work at home or in an office, depending on the location.
