FLOWER BUYER
As an established floral trading company, we are seeking a polished, experienced, intelligent and assertive
buying professional to join our team. This person will be buying fresh flowers to fulfill current orders.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under limited direction, you will purchase flower orders using our established policies and farm
relationships for a set of clients in a fast past work environment. Ultimately you will make the right
decision using analytical skills: evaluating price, quality, and volume specifications. You will also support
sales representatives in quoting and assisting their clients as needed.
JOB DUTIES
? Prioritize and purchase flower orders within specified time periods
? Analyze purchases and margins in accordance with company policies and targets
? Source new suppliers and products for development
? Assist Sales Team in quoting orders and maintaining strong relationships with clients
? Assist Accounting department with any discrepancies
? Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with external vendors and stakeholders
? Work with external stakeholders to ensure proper completion of orders
? Assist in managing all logistics of an order, from the first quote to shipping the product to
resolving any problems after the product arrives
? Additional duties as assigned

? Previous Flower experience is a plus, but not a must
? Previous Buying experience is a plus, but not a must
? Experience working with other cultures is a plus
? Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
