We're seeking a highly motivated and strategic Junior IT Content Author for a Digital Experience Platform who enjoys finding innovative solutions to complex problems, working with deadlines and deliverables, and facing daily challenges to help boost IT projects across various industries. A recent or soon-to-be graduate in Information Systems, Information Technology, Digital Businesses, or a similar field. Availability to work under a hybrid modality in our Quito, Ecuador office. An advanced English level, as you will communicate daily with our international clients and team. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required to be efficient across multiple projects. Openness to receiving and applying feedback. Ability to convey information clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Nice to have: Experience or familiarity with project management tools like Asana, SalesForce, MS Project, Jira, Monday, or Clickup. Experience or familiarity with project management methodologies like Waterfall, Scrum, and, preferably, Agile. Experience or familiarity with a content management system (CMS) like WordPress or something similar. Day-to-day tasks: Content Creation & Updates: Create, edit, and publish web content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This includes building new pages, updating existing content, and uploading multimedia assets to keep the site fresh and informative. All content must be accurate, up-to-date, and engaging for our target audience. If you are unfamiliar with the platform, you will be provided training. Page Templates & Components Management: Utilize AEM's templates, components, and content fragments to construct pages in a modular, scalable way. Manage and organize digital assets (images, videos, documents) in the AEM Digital Asset Manager (DAM) for easy reuse. Maintain an organized content repository and suggest improvements to page layouts or components for better presentation and reusability. Brand Consistency & SEO Compliance: Ensure all published content adheres to company brand guidelines (tone, style, and visual standards) and follows SEO best practices. Optimize pages for search engines by using appropriate keywords, meta descriptions, alt tags for images, and proper heading structures. Maintain consistency in formatting and voice across all site sections to provide a cohesive brand experience. Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing: Conduct thorough QA checks on content before and after publishing. Review pages for typos, broken links, formatting issues, or errors. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new templates or features, ensuring that pages display correctly on various devices/browsers and meet the requirements. Resolve any content-related issues or bugs in coordination with developers (e.g., fixing layout problems or component errors). Publishing Workflows & Version Control: Handle the end-to-end publishing process within AEM. This involves initiating content workflows for approvals, scheduling content go-live dates, and publishing or unpublishing pages as needed. Utilize AEM's version control to track changes, create page versions, and roll back to previous content when necessary. Maintain documentation of content changes and follow governance processes so that updates are audited and compliant with internal guidelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, product marketers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and adapt content for campaigns or new product launches. Ensure that text and imagery align with design specifications and technical constraints, and coordinate with the marketing team to schedule content releases. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with AEM features and content authoring best practices. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline the authoring process, such as creating documentation for everyday tasks, improving content templates, or suggesting workflow enhancements. Support occasional content migration projects or site-wide updates (e.g., during a redesign or platform upgrade), ensuring smooth transition of pages and assets without content gaps.
