Summary About the Position: Serves as Logistics Management Specialist and advisor for matters related to the implementation of all administrative activities associated with logistical management functions of the Security Cooperation Organization (SCO) Ecuador office.
Responsibilities
Coordinates logistical administrative support for Security Cooperation Engagements, to include inter:agency logistical support, coordination of all new equipment purchased through Foreign Military Sales (FMS)/Foreign Military Finance Programs (FMF).
Manages operating budget related to logistical support of US military equipment, Humanitarian Assistance Program, maintenance and dispatch of Non:tactical Vehicles (NTV), end use monitoring responsibilities and property accountability.
Serves as the Defense Travel System reviewer, Unit Readiness manager, and Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) programs manager for the OSC.
Evaluates and advises SCO Chief Ecuador, regarding the logistics requirements that best support U.S Government and Host Country regional engagements and provide logistics expertise/assistance to the SCO Chief in other emergent programs/requirements.
