This position will lead, coordinate and execute all R&D projects at La Chola in the areas of Genetics and Breeding, Agronomy and Integrated Pest Management. This position will also be the local liaison between the commercial farm and the R&D activities.
- Lead, coordinate, execute and supervise the collection and evaluation of data records of genetics and breeding, agronomy and IPM in the experimental and commercial plantings at La Chola or any partner farms in Ecuador
- Provide data management, statistical support and analysis of collected data;
- Support the development of a yield forecasting model based on the dynamic of natural processes of cocoa, climate and agriculture management;
- Provide support to the Genetics and Breeding, IPM and Q&FS activities at La Chola or any partner farms in Ecuador when necessary;
