Job overview:
We are looking for a backend engineer to join our team as we continue to build our state of the art tech stack and tackle the problems of scalability. Our backend team works and interacts directly with every facet of the company including product, data-science, front-end engineering, marketing, and business. It also includes working directly with our enterprise customers on integrations.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess:
-Mid/ Senior-level software engineer with 4+ years experience working either professionally or consistently working as a volunteer, with a focus on -or strong interest in -backend development.
-Will be working with our data pipelines, dev-ops, our product and partner APIs, and internal tooling -all while we continue to scale our consumer and B2B offerings.
-Great communicator and motivated to learn.
-Can run with a task but knows when to stop and ask for help.
-You are ideal for the job if you are comfortable working with loosely defined problem spaces and you are excited about learning new concepts and technologies quickly.
-Highly detail oriented with an understanding that high quality backend work will ensure a great UX and developer experience across all our platforms for years to come
-Experience working remotely
-Strong SQL experience.
-Strong experience in an object-oriented programming language (C#especially but can also beJava, Kotlin, Swift, etc).
-Experience creating server-side web applications.
-Basic front-end web development experience with a modern framework for building internal tools
-You enjoy keeping up to date with the latest technologies and bringing new ideas to the team.
-Loves challenging the status-quo and are passionate about what they build
-Ability to work autonomously yet collaboratively
-You are logical, a fast learner, humble and love to share knowledge
