Aurea is seeking a VP of Delivery Operations to help lead a professional services and customer success operation that will provide standard services to customers to help them maximize the value they receive from Aurea software products. Examples of these services include software upgrades, health checks, simple software customization and configuration, and other related services.
However, unlike in a traditional time and materials oriented professional services organization, Aurea aspires to build productized services : service delivery that can be executed in a highly repeatable and scalable model using a non:traditional, process driven delivery approach. In effect, Aurea is seeking to transform its services organization from a traditional, expensive, highly bespoke delivery model to a next generation, low cost, highly predictable and repeatable model.
The VP of Delivery Ops will have specific responsibility for delivering success to our customers via as series of productized delivery services:
The VP of Delivery Ops will partner with our Product Management organization to defined and build productized service delivery offerings
The VP of Delivery Ops will lead the delivery of our packaged (non:customized) services, including but not limited to customer health checks, managed upgrades, simple solution configuration, and other services. The VP of Delivery Ops will be responsible for the design and execution of these services to ensure efficiency, predictable delivery quality, and scalability, as well as the ability to deliver consistently high margins
The VP of Delivery Ops will have P and L responsibility for our productized services business, and will be accountable for driving year:over:year revenue growth, a book:to:bill ratio that consistently exceed 110, and exceptional and consistent EBITDA margins of 50
The VP of Delivery Ops reports directly to the COO and will serve on the Operations leadership team.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Skills and experience
Leadership: The VP of Delivery Ops must be able to articulate a strategy, communicate this vision and be able to drive execution
Depth in Packaged Services Delivery: Previous leadership in a service delivery firm
Metrics Driven: The VP should be and metric driven leader that can build organizational capability in service delivery to deliver predictable, repeatable, and scalable results across multiple products and markets
Continuous Improvement: The VP should be a relentless driver of continuous, metric:based performance and productivity improvement
Courageous Problem Solving: A detail oriented, hands:on leader who can drive experimentation and problem:solving
Organizational Flexibility and Savvy: Comfortable working in a distributed, virtual, and global resource environment; able to influence and lead peers in operating the business in a coordinated manner
Organization Builder: An outstanding team building and people developer with a high talent bar
Six sigma or equivalent certification
Education and work history
Bachelors degree. MBA preferred.
15+ years of service delivery leadership
5+ years of P and L ownership
Location: Global (remote)
Compensation: 250K/year
40+ hours/week
