Who are we looking for? We are seeking a Reliability/Mechanical Engineer to join the Khurais Producing Maintenance Division (KhPMD) within the Khurais Producing Department (KhPD).
The division oversees all reliability activities for rotating equipment at KhPD (CPF, satellite GOSP, and CAPD).
Key Responsibilities Acting as the focal point for critical or major equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis, coordinating meetings, and gathering necessary information for investigations. Serving as the primary contact for rotating equipment with external organizations such as PMT, CSD, vendors, contractors, and service shops. Reviewing and updating maintenance strategies annually to optimize equipment maintenance tasks. Reviewing machinery repair procedures and work scopes in collaboration with workshops. Identifying and incorporating new technologies and techniques to transition from preventive to proactive maintenance. Reviewing Engineering Request packages for machinery modifications or upgrades and providing input. Calculating and updating monthly and YTD asset KPIs. Issuing monthly reliability program reports, updating equipment health progress, and reporting failures and successes. Monitoring the area's EMP programs and trends. Establishing an asset fault analysis database and ensuring all data and modifications are up-to-date. Approving SAP equipment maintenance history records for failed rotating equipment. Investigating critical equipment trips to identify root causes and recommend solutions. Overseeing PM, PdM, PaM, and RCM programs. Conducting life cycle cost analysis for bad actors and expensive repairs. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. +5 years of experience, preferably in the oil, gas or similar process industry. Extensive experience in rotating equipment and reliability functions, including troubleshooting, failure modal analysis and familiarity with reliability programs. Thorough knowledge of international standards and practices related to maintenance and reliability and hold valid internationally recognized professional certifications such as CMRP or any reliability certification.
