Overview
+ Responsible for setting sales strategies as it relates to customer accounts that are aligned with geography strategy and achieving sales goals that drive market share, volume and revenue growth
Leads and manages existing customer relationships, and works to identify opportunities and customer needs
Partners with customers to deliver customized solutions and comprehensive consulting support
Ensure flawlessly execution in a timely manner with high level of quality in accounts
Responsible for pipeline management at the account level

Role
Sets objectives and plays a lead role in achieving sales and net revenue targets aligned with geography strategy
Leads and manages key customer relationships at the senior level, demonstrating MasterCard’s values
Provides direction for overall strategies, messaging and proposals for customers to deliver continuous MasterCard revenue and share growth through valuable business relations with customers
Drive portfolio performance and profitability metrics; monitor performance against incentive agreements Reviews reports on customer’s existing business to determine opportunities for additional revenues and/or strategic opportunities
Provides consultative analysis, industry insights, and thought leadership to the customer
Represents the voice of the market and customers to internal stakeholders
Oversees implementation of sales plans including business development, marketing and product management
Negotiates the customer agreement process ensuring global resource linkage
Contributes to the achievement of sales and net revenue targets
Assists with analysis of customer’s business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis
Assists in designing strategies, messaging and proposals for customers
Supports the management key customer relationships at manager levels
Collaborates with the account team and customers to plan, execute and monitor progress against annual business plans
Assists in local projects and cross-functional initiatives

Comprehensive experience executing and managing sales strategies for medium-sized accounts
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of MasterCard's core products, rules, and services
Consistently delivered thoughtful market and business analysis for customer accounts
Planning and competitive selling capabilities for different markets and customers businesses models
Excellent negotiation skills
Customers insights and relations with multiple accounts
Products and market dynamic knowledge
Communication, presentation and language skills
Excellent analytical skills (e.g., products P&L analysis, financial forecasting, competitive analysis)
Proven ability to develop business relationships at all levels
Results-oriented and customer-focused
Availability to travel and mobility
Broad or extensive experience with sales strategy development and execution in complex accounts
Extensive track record in achieving success/profitability for key customer accounts
Experience supervising and coaching teams of account managers to serve complex customer accounts
Demonstrated success in incorporating new solutions into existing customer accounts
Experience in negotiating challenging situations and closing complex deals
BROADENING EXPERIENCES
Acquired in-depth experience in core banking/financial industries and another emerging industry (i.e., retail, telecommunications)
Participated in cross-functional projects and took the opportunity to play a key role for own market/account
Taken a lead role in a customer negotiation
