Objective of the position: To oversee and manage nearly every aspect of the purchasing of equipment, materials and services in the company, by evaluating suppliers to find the best deals possible on goods and services needed for business operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow up Purchase requisition submitted from the areas and create Purchase orders in the less time possible.
Contact vendors and request quotation according to our needs.
Create request for quotation and comparison tables at the system, to select the best deal according to purchasing policy.
Asses costs and negotiate vendor and supply prices
Transmit and prioritize approved purchase orders and supporting documents to supplier.
Track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and costs.
Review, update and maintain purchase orders until they are closed ensuring the purchasing process in completed.
Help resolving prices conflicts and place bids with different vendors as required.
Create and maintain vendors at the system.Education level:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Education Degree:
Engineering
Work Experience:
4 years
Specific Work Experience:
2 years of relevant work experience.
Foreign Language:
Intermediate English (speaking and writing)
Specific Knowledge/Informatic systems:
Intermediate Microsoft Office.
ERP knowledge for purchasing. (Preferably SAP)
Purchase of maintenance goods and services needed from other areas.
Knowledge of Contract Management is preferable.
Knowledge of maintenance (preferable).
Skills/Competences:
Team work
Information Confidentiality and Proactiveness
Effective oral and writing communication,
Solid organizational skills and multitasking.
