Billing Specialist

Our New York based company specializes in healthcare billing for nursing homes and is expanding into other healthcare sectors. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to our mission of delivering seamless billing solutions to our clients. The Role Verify insurance eligibility monthly to ensure all claims are covered and up-to-date. Handle the initial billing of claims, scheduling submissions according to specific deadlines. Perform initial follow-ups on submitted claims, using our follow-up system to manage and rectify any denied claims. Apply payments received to the appropriate accounts, ensuring accuracy in all transaction postings. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the billing cycle to support transparency and compliance. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. This role is suited for professionals who are detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of managing the full billing cycle with precision. Proficiency in Point Click Care (PCC) software is highly preferred; candidates without this specific experience should have a solid background in healthcare billing.
